Sirtuins (SIRTs) are proteins crucial to many bodily functions, including metabolism, brain function, and aging. Among the seven SIRTs in mammals, SIRT1 is the most studied due to its role in preventing neuro- disorders.

Resveratrol, a compound found in grapes and red wine, activates SIRTs and has significant health benefits. It's a strong antioxidant, reduces inflammation, and can affect cellular pathways relating to cell death and survival (Moraes DS, et.al., 2020).

As a dietary supplement, resveratrol could play a key role in cognitive health and combatting neurodegenerative disorders.
