The role of Omega 3 & Vitamin D in warding off autoimmune diseases

A big study in the U.S. has some hopeful news for anyone worried about autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis (Hahn J, et.al., 2022).

Over 25,000 adults took part, with some getting vitamin D, some omega 3s, and some both. After about 5 years, those who took vitamin D had a 22% lower chance of getting an autoimmune disease.

Omega 3s alone reduced the risk 15%, and when combined with vitamin D the reduction was 30%.

So, taking daily vitamin D and omega 3 fatty acids could be a simple way to help your body keep autoimmune diseases at bay.

Better Fish Oil has been reformulated for optimal EPA and DHA ratios, aimed at improving heart health and reducing inflammation, crucial for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis. It’s important for maintaining a balanced omega-3 intake, especially given the typical Western diet's excess of omega-6 fatty acids. This high-quality fish oil is tested for purity, ensuring it’s free from harmful oxidization and contaminants like heavy metals.

Our Vitamin D3 provides the bioactive form of vitamin D, essential for bone health and immune function, reflecting its potential in reducing risks associated with low vitamin D levels, such as certain cancers and inflammatory conditions.
