Does it sound too good to be true to be able to improve your memory in only an hour?
Well, that was found possible in this double blind, placebo-controlled study (Cox KH, et al. 2015).
The participants were 60 healthy adults between the age of 60 and 80 years.
After 1 hour of taking 400mg of curcumin formulated a specific way, the participants in the treatment group experienced significant improvement in performance on sustained attention and working memory tasks compared with the placebo group.
After 4 weeks of treatment, general fatigue, change in calmness, contentedness and fatigue induced by psychological stress were also significantly better.
Not only that, but taking this curcumin reduced total cholesterol as well as LDL (low density lipoprotein), the so called bad cholesterol associated with increased risk for cardiovascular disease.
Remember that these results have not been found with regular curcumin or other curcumin formulas.
Also be aware that this formulation is patented, and for that reason cost a little bit more.
Counterfeit or diluted products may for that reason surface in the market place, so be careful when you buy.
