Vitamin A Linked to Lower Stroke Risk

Could vitamins help in the fight against strokes? A review of 21 studies suggests so (Farashi S, et.al., 2022).

Researchers analyzed data from nearly 6,000 stroke patients and found that higher levels of vitamin A, both retinol and beta-carotene, were connected to a reduced risk of stroke and its subsequent mortality.

The findings show that people with enough retinol and beta-carotene in their systems seem to have a better shield against strokes.

So, for those wondering if vitamins are worth it, vitamin A might just be a key player in maintaining brain health.

Vitamin A is included in our multivitamin without iron supplement.
