Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) …...…………...........………… 1000 IU

Observational studies suggest low vitamin D status can be associated with an increased risk of dying from conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes (Autier P, Gandini S, 2007).

Vitamin D levels are inversely associated with postmenopausal breast cancer risk (Abbas S, et al, 2007).

A daily intake of 1000-2000 IU of vitamin D3 may reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer (Gorham ED, et al, 2007).

High intake of vitamin D was associated with a lower risk for pancreatic cancer (Skinner AG, et al, 2006).

Adequate vitamin D intake reduces inflammatory cytokines and inadequate vitamin D intake contributes to inflammation and increases the risk of developing MS (Mark BL, Carson JA, 2006).
